‘LE MONITEUR DE LA MODE.’ (Gravure 157) by Jules David c.1848

A very attractive and finely engraved mid 19th century French fashion plate which was drawn by Jules David and published in Le Moniteur De La Mode (Paris, Rue Neuve-Vivienne, c.1848). This is an original steel engraving with original hand colour. Printed area is approximately 17.2cms by 25.5cms (including title and imprint).
